Welcome!

I’m Sam, owner of The Honestead. Ohio raised but Florida livin’ with my husband and 5 fur-kids.

I started this business in the summer of 2018, and I love what I get to do … making wood art for your homes and businesses that is unique and custom to you.

Work in progress Not loving the sky. One panel is lookin good, and that makes me feel like it needs to be darker overall lol I think I’ll repaint with just 3 of the colors & follow the horizontal wood slats rather than the shape of the moon 🤷🏼‍♀️ The mountains are coming along though! Lots of wood tones, black, white, and strips of moss. My current ‘work in progress’ pieces One of them is throwing me for a loop at every stage though. Used the wrong sized pieces for 1/3 of it and had to recut. Couldn’t get the pattern to line up with the center of the board properly.
